April 20th

So happy April 20th. I have always loved this day. Sunny, sprinttime, outdoors shit. Just something about it. I feel there is more to today than there really is. You know what I mean? Not sure what it is.................

Guess it isn't anything. I'm out to get some Wasabi Icecream.

Word, Captain. It's a cliche, as St.Pats day has become, but just the same you gotta be in. check out that eye booger on black dog. serious accumulation in the right eye of that dumb dog.

Current fashion trend during the SF rain season: the Gene Kelly; long blue trenchcoat; starched white collar; with giant umbrella--which is bounced from shoulder to shoulder opposite each hip swish--look; on a HOMO. Believe that. I've seen this ten times in the last week and I tend to avoid these fellas. word

I recall a highlight in a year, more than six ago, happened on this day. On a joy ride to a rural communal kickball match atop the Blue Ridge of West Virginia. With, but not led by you, Captain. Am I makin this up?

no no my faithful friend. I remember the great april 20th high in the mountains of WV. That day was rediculous. herbola relays, giant stalks of cron, hippies, friendship, sharing and one other very important moment of my life. That was the setting of the first Run like hell that I had ever heard. Some redneck hippy was blaring it out of the back of his Iroc-Camero. Remember that. What a day.

Ummm that fashion trend is aweful. I would love for you to do it once and send me pictures. "Skippers!"

yeah that was a scene. i remember a road twisting up above the tree line and setting sun. All the while cars full of freaks passing on the way down--lunchin and driving very slowly. we finally got to the top and were greeted like Elvis in Hawaii. Substituting stik for the flower necklace, that is. i can't recall specific tunes but i do remember jamming there and on the way back. Thanks for that day Captain.
